The college facilities exist to support the academic activities of students, faculty and staff. Here you can find important information about the hours, services and policies that govern these facilities:

DAAP managed facilities

• Computer Graphics Center The Computer Graphics Center (CGC) contains 3 computer labs, printing and scanning facilities and help desk. The labs contain high end computer workstations suitable for the vast array of professional graphics software used in all our disciplines.
• Rapid Prototyping Center The Rapid Prototyping center is home to several computer numerical control (CNC) machines used for creating three-dimensional representations of computer models.
• Photo Lab The Photo Lab contains dark rooms and facilities for processing film-based photography in addition to supporting output of high-end digital photography.
• Shop The Shop contains numerous wood and metal working machines including saws, drills, welding equipment, hand tools and work surfaces.

Facilities managed by other units

• Library DAAP has a branch of the UC Library System in our building. The collection includes books and periodicals from all areas of art and design.
• Bookstore Follet runs a bookstore stocked with art and modeling supplies, as well as convenience items.
• Cafe The DAAP Cafe is located in the main atrium and serves a variety of food and drinks.
