Photo Shooting Studios--Orientations

There are two ways to become a certified user of the Photo Shooting studios:

  1. Attend an orientation by sign up or
  2. Attend an orientation  scheduled through your professor for your entire class.

The dates and times for the orientation sessions are posted quarterly on daapspace, the DAAP TV monitors as well as on the bulletin board outside of the photo facility, (Suite 4440-4470 Aronoff).    DAAP students (not Freshmen, though)  can sign up on the sheets posted outside the photo area.

Your entire class

Any DAAP professor can arrange an orientation for their entire class (not for Freshman, though)  by contacting the lab manager, Anne Glenn, 556-0301,  anne.glenn@uc.edu

All orientations are held within the first 4 to 5 weeks of each quarter. To allow time for shooting mid term and final projects there are no orientation sessions after week 4 or 5 of each quarter.  So, come early!

Certified users please note:

Hours for the shooting studio are posted on a calendar placed on the bulletin board immediately outside the photo lab, 4440-4470 Aronoff.

Daytime use is on the  first-come, first-served basis.  Usually there is little or no wait.   There are NO reservations for the daytime use of the studios.

However, on the evenings and weekends that the photo area is open (as posted on the calendar)  the studios may be reserved by signing up on the sign up sheets posted on the bulletin board outside of the photo lab.
