How do I submit a job to the RPC?

To submit a job request to the Rapid Prototyping Center, there are several basic requirements:

• You must be a currently enrolled DAAP student.
• The request must be for DAAP classwork. Your instructor will have to create an "RPC Project" for you to submit your request to.
• You must have a CAD model that is appropriate for the out-put technology which you are requesting.
• You must have signed (in person - only once) an agreement form in the RPCenter saying you will be responsible for charges to which you agree online.

Once you have fulfilled these, the jobs are submitted online:

• Go to: http://daapspace.daap.uc.edu/rapidlab/

• Log-on as a user.

• Look for the "Online Submission System" section with an active link to select.

• Choose "Submit a new job".

• Fill out the form accurately, including selecting the RPC Project your instructor has created, and upload your CAD file(s).

• Submit the request.
