3-Axis Machining
CNC Machine Autoprofiler
The Fanuc controlled AutoProfiler, is an older NC machine which currently holds only one tool (currently a 0.500in ball mill) and can rotate up to 10,000RPM. Any student may have access to the machine on a first come first serve basis. The machine is available to any able student whenever the DAAP shop is open. This document is the start of empowering individuals to be operators of the machine. Additional help is available during the days and evening when qualified personnel are therre, but the goal is to empower individuals to operate the machine themselves for the most part.
