A basic instruction in the use of CNC programming to produce parts for models used in design development. The process described herein is suitable for machining complex 3D contours using a surface (*.iges) CAD model to generate a toolpath file that will drive the Bridgeport CNC milling center in the DAAP Rapid Prototyping Center.
