Differences between the Z310 machine and the Z310 machine

We have two kinds of 3D printers - the Z310 and the Z510. The following are the differences between the two printers.

  • Build size/Maximum printing area

Z310 - x8 x y10 x z8 inch / 203 x 254 x 203 mm Z510 - x10 x y14 x z8 inch / 254 x 356 x 203 mm

  • Color

Z510 is a color printer and can print color parts but Z310 on the other hand can only print parts in monochrome

  • Resolution

Because the Z510 uses a finer powder it has a better resolution when compared to Z310.

  • Strength

Parts coming out of Z510 have a greater initial strength. If given sufficient time to cure parts printed in Z310 will also achieve same strength. But because of the grater initial strength it is advisable to print fragile and thin parts in 510 to avoid breakage

  • Price

Z510 is costlier when compared to Z310. The charge for printing the part in Z510 is $ 1 per cubic inch and that in Z310 is $ 0.50 per cubic inch.
