SITE SPECIFICITY

IN SITU: 41 degrees 34 minutes 18.68 seconds N ; 87 degrees 37 minutes 16.02 seconds W. The thesis is an exploration of a site (Thornton Quarry) aimed at producing site-specific work. Extracting concepts from the investigation, the work is conceived for the site and its formal outcomes determined by it. The essence of the work is 'unconcealment' of the site.
