Senior Project: Kenkyo, a Japanese Restaurant

Kenkyo is a restaurant serving Kaiseki-style Japanese cuisine in the Financial District of San Francisco. Its interiors reflect inspiration from the Japanese Tea Ceremony without being too literal. Selection, treatment, and application of materials are important as they integrate the concept of working with nature, rather than against it.
