The user experience with products is central to my design philosophy. I think through research and collaboration with other disciplines, a good design solution transcends aesthetic considerations; it emphasizes the function, use and interpretation of objects to enhance the user relationship with them.

My research inclinations inculde human-centered design, universal design and new product innovation. In my current stint as a Graduate Assistant to Prof. Craig Vogel and Prof Sooshin Choi, I am working on the PG IDSA interdisciplinary student design competition.

Prior to that, I worked with HP Labs, India as a Design Researcher for a year, focusing on new product development, user experience of products for emerging markets. I have also worked as a Usability Designer at Human Factors International and Pramati Technologies.
