still life with woodpecker #2 : title sequence for a child audience

"Can the way a title sequence is designed and animated change an audience's perspective on the movie that follows?"  My capstone was to make three title sequences, each created for different age groups using differing imagery, music, pacing, and themes, in order to change how a movie is interpreted and affected by its opening titles. I used the book Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins as a base, as if the novel were being made into a movie.

This title sequence was made for a sophisticated children using playfulness, the inevitable charm of love, and some of the repetitive book imagery as the main themes. I wanted a pop-up book look to connect the novel's visuals to a child's style using 2D elements in 3D in After Effects.
