Holiday World, May 21, 2006

The Voyage is Holiday World`s new wooden roller coaster in 2006. It is situated in Holiday World`s new Thanksgiving section of the park. The ride was designed by the Gravity Group, of Cincinnati, Ohio. The ride features many underground tunnels, including the one seen rising at left. The line for the ride crosses over the tunnel, and part of the line stretched past the tunnel with large windows for a close up view!

The tall lift hill of the Voyage. To the right is the Plymouth Rock Cafe restaurant still under construction. The Voyage, like The Beast goes out in the woods for a good portion of its journey. Right above the restaurant is one of the ride`s three 90 degree banked turns.

A train crests one of the many hills. The coaster is the third longest wooden coaster in the world, behind The Beast and Son of Beast at Kings Island.

A train departs the station. The tunnel seen on the left is for the dive under the entrance and exits and along side the line for the ride.

The ending of the ride is right up next to the midway and entrance to the Thanksgiving area of the park.
