Six Flags Worlds of Adventure, 2002

When I visited this park in 2002, it was known as Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. It was comprised of the former Geauga Lake and Sea World Ohio properties. Six Flags sold the park to Cedar Fair in 2004, which in turn closed down the animal side of the park (the former Sea World portion). They also changed the name of the park back to Geauga Lake. Above are the sea lions that I saw on the wildlife side of the park.

Here my sister, brother, dad and I are waiting to board Superman Ultimate Escape, an Intamin Impulse coaster. Once Cedar Fair bought the park, they renamed the ride Steel Venom.

And here we are on the train waiting to start the ride.

Here is the twisting forward spike of Superman Ultimate Escape (Steel Venom).

We are waiting to board the Big Dipper. The Big Dipper was built in 1926 and designed by John Miller.
