P&G Day, September 16th, 2006

An annual tradition in my family has been to attend P&G day at Kings Island. This is a weekend when P&G rents out the park so that it is only open to P&G employees and their families. (Season passes are not valid on this weekend). This year, they printed up special maps for the weekend, as well as offered a $20 discount on both a Kings Island season pass as well as a Cedar Fair Max Pass.

A view from the Eiffel Tower of the Royal fountain and International Street.

Another view from the Eiffel Tower. This time showing the work that has been done on the Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park and resort. They now have several of the slides up that meander out of the building before returning inside.

Also, Kings Island had a special show in the Paramount Theater, Flashback, that they only ran for two weekends. P&G weekend and GE weekend the weekend before P&G weekend.

A view of the Dividend Day sign hanging from The Eiffel Tower. Also, many of the free sample tents (like the one on the left) were located underneath the Eiffel Tower, giving out samples of P&G brands.
