Over by Flight of Fear were where they were storing lots of new parts for the new ride in 2007, Firehawk. Firehawk was formerly located at Geauga Lake (outside of Cleveland), and was formerly known as X-Flight.
Of course, on any construction site, you will have heavy machinery. This is looking towards the former location of the helicopter pad.
