Frank Lloyd Wright`s Darwin D. Martin House was undergoing a renovation when I made my visit on a huge architectural field trip for school. The house was built in 1903-1905 and is located in Buffalo, NY.
The exterior of the Exeter Academy Library, designed by Louis Kahn, is located in Exeter, New Hamsphire. The building was built from 1967-1972 and is home to the prep school`s library.
A look down at the library`s main atrium to the floors below. Kahn was known for his use of harsh concrete against the warm colors of wood.
