Christmas, 2005

Our house as seen from across the street.

The gazebo and pines trees in the back of our house. This picture was taken after the first major snowfall of the season (after a long 2.5 hour drive home from work in downtown Cincinnati). There are about 1,000 lights here.

Here is a close up of some of the lights in the front. The candy canes next to the lamp post were added after Christmas last season. The fresh layer of about four to five inches of snow can clearly be seen in this shot.

A view from the sidewalk showing the lights in the front as well as the ones in the back.

A view of the oak tree and the house from down the street. I added 400 new lights to the oak tree this year. There are 1,200 lights on the tree alone. In all, we put up about 5,800 lights.

A close up of the train, the American Flag and the front porch area.
